The main parking lot, located at 5460 S. Ocean Drive, is currently closed for construction and is expected to be closed until at least September 2025.
During the construction period, beachgoers are asked to park one mile north in the Little Mud parking area. From there, they can either walk down the sidewalk to the temporary gated entrance; or they can access the beach near the Little Mud boat ramp and then walk south once they reach the sand.
